Polyester Fire retardant RTM resin
Description
R820I series is formulated from halogenated unsaturated polyester resin combined with high-performance additives.
This resin has been specifically designed for closed-molding processes such as vacuum infusion and Light-RTM, providing excellent fire resistance, good mechanical performance, and controlled flow behavior.
Product Characteristics:
- Fire-retardant formulation based on halogenated polyester resin
- Optimized viscosity for controlled flow during infusion
- Good mechanical strength and laminate consolidation
- Consistent gel time and curing behavior
- Good bonding between layers
Primary Applications:
R820I series is recommended for applications requiring fire protection, such as:
